Performances & Recitals

For the last 18 years, every student who takes piano lessons with me has been offered many chances to perform on stage. Even prior to the pandemic, we were live streaming so that family and friends far and wide could enjoy the recitals just as if they were right there in person!

“Mystical, Magical, Musical Castle” – 2021

This was a hybrid recital in October 2021!

Virtual Recital – June 2020

Students pre-recorded videos and we watched together on Zoom !

“Shining Bright” – December 2019

Los Altos UMC in Long beach on December 14, 2019

“Beautiful Sounds” – December 2018

Dec 15, 2018 at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Long Beach

We have at least one formal recital each school year (usually around the holiday season), and others are themed and more “for fun.”

I don’t require any of my students to participate; however, I strongly encourage it. When you take piano lessons, part of the process is to learn how to overcome any fears you may have about performing – the earlier you learn this, the better! I work closely with my students to help them become the best at performing their pieces they can be.

Long Beach Piano Teacher Christina Lopriore

ABOUT THE PIANO TEACHER

I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Music from Chapman University (’05). I have been teaching piano, violin, viola, music theory & composition since 2003 in Southern California. I live in Long Beach, CA with my two rescue dogs, Buddy & Bebe!

It is my immense honor to guide students (& their parents!) through every step of the musical journey. As a creative piano teacher with a music degree and years of experience, I bring a fresh and patient approach to your piano lessons. Many of my pupils have gone on to be active in the performing arts departments at their schools, win awards, and study music in college.
