At Tempo Music Lessons, we realize that there’s a reason it’s called PLAYING piano.

Music is supposed to be about FUN, and we recognize that it is especially important to make learning fun, accessible, and engaging in the early childhood years, because children learn best through play!

Even though I am an advanced pianist, I absolutely LOVE teaching piano lessons to little kids that are pre-school and kindergarten age.

Every step of the way during their piano lessons, I tap into your child’s imagination and change my teaching techniques to fit their individual needs. In addition to working at the piano, we do a lot of “off-bench” activities such as playing music games, singing, dancing, and even sometimes coloring with crayons!

In our piano lessons geared for little kids in the Long Beach – Lakewood area, your child’s introduction to music will be a positive experience that they will remember long into adulthood.

There are a lot of benefits to beginning piano lessons at a young age!
